YONG Acupuncture & Herbs
Mission Jon's goal is to provide the highest level of care to his patients and to help patients restore the balance of Yin and Yang for their Well-being. A Natural and Holistic Therapy Oriental medicine treats the whole person. We consider all signs and symptoms in order to come up with an Oriental medical diagnosis. Oriental medicine combines acupuncture, herbs, massage, and lifestyle changes to bring balance and health. We strive to balance the vital energy called Qi which is reflected in the physical, mental and spiritual health of each person. Acupuncture is one of the most widely accepted forms of alternative therapy. With stimulation of certain points located on the surface of the skin with thin needles, acupuncture treatments can bring profound physiological changes to promote better health and balance in life. Recently the NIH reported promising results have emerged, showing efficacy of acupuncture. Herbs evolved into a healing art in China through observation and usage. Chinese herbs are selected from a variety of natural sources and after a thorough diagnosis, a customized formula is prepared to enhance therapeutic effectiveness. Is it Safe? Acupuncture is very safe. We use sterilized, single-use needles. Side effects are rare. Does it hurt? You may feel a pinching sensation when the needles are inserted, although often you will feel nothing at all. We always consider your comfort. How does it work? Most symptoms or diseases arise because of a disharmony of the body’s Qi. The stimulation of acupuncture points helps remind the body how to rebalance itself. How many treatments will I need? The number and frequency of treatments depends on your condition. Generally, acute conditions require less treatment than long-standing chronic conditions. Does insurance cover acupuncture? Please check with your insurer to determine if acupuncture services are covered. We will provide you with the necessary paperwork to submit claims. Discount YONG acupuncture & Herbs offers discount to seniors and students. We offer discount for multiple prepaid acupuncture sessions
