    Introduction: 

    Hello, my name is Adam Schreiber and I am the founder and head practitioner at WellPoint Oriental Medicine. Our office is conveniently located in the Art Museum neighborhood of Philadelphia. You can visit our website at www.WellPointOM.com My areas of specialization include: supporting cancer patients and sports medicine/orthopedics. I have advanced training in using Chinese Medicine to treat many of the problems associated with cancer. I practice a combination of Chinese, Japanese and Sports Medicine Acupuncture as taught by Matt Callison. I prescribe Chinese herbal medicine in several different formats, including: raw herbs, powdered extracts, patent medicines and liquid extracts. I always strive to educate my patients on how to best help themselves, while providing them with the finest possible care in our offices. The safety and comfort of my patients is a top priority in my practice. I am always willing to discuss your situation with you on the phone and answer any questions that you may have.     Background and Qualifications: 

    Studied at The New England School of Acupuncture - Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Studied acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and several modalities of therapeutic bodywork. Medical Qigong training with Master Zhang Yuanming. Managed the Herb Room at TAI Sophia institute in Columbia, MD (2005)

    For the last several years I have been studying advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Acupuncture with Matt Callison of http://www.acusporthealth.com/  This style of treatment relies on anatomical and energetic modes of treatment in conjunction with posture assessment and self-exercises for the patient to complete at home.
