Five Phase - Spleen Deficiency with ST/LI/SI Excess Pattern

There are two related patterns, SP Deficiency with Stomach Excess Heat and SP Deficiency with Yang Ming Channel Excess Heat. The root treatment is similar but there may be variations with secondary points.
- Treatment Points:
- Technique: #1 or #2 needle, approx. 2-3mm insertion, vibrating needle, retain approx. 3-5 minutes
- Fire Points - PC 8 & SP 2
- Common Symptoms:
- Yang Ming Heat
- Reddening of the joints
- Spontaneous pain that is worse in the afternoon
- Arthritis in the knees
- Viral warts
- Stomach Excess Heat
- Abdominal distention w/constipation
- Manic depression
- Large appetite
- Insomnia, snoring
- Related Patterns & Treatment (in lieu of controlling cycle):
- ST Heat - disperse ST 45, ST 44, ST 34
