Five Phase - Lung Deficiency Heat Pattern
There are no abdominal patterns for Lung Deficiency Heat as it is an exterior condition.
Pulse:
HT/LV/KD/PC = Floating and Tight
LU/SP = Floating and Excess
- Root Treatment Points:
- Technique: #0 or #1 needle, approx. 1mm insertion, retain approx. 10 minutes
- Metal Points - SP 5 & LU 8 or Yuan Source Point - LU 9
- Common Symptoms:
- Bloodshot eyes
- Red face
- Coughing, SOB
- Aversion to cold, fever, no sweating
- Stiffness and pain in the posterior neck
- Rhinitis
- Related Patterns & Treatment (in lieu of controlling cycle):
- HT Heat - disperse SI 1 & SI 6
- SP Heat - disperse ST 44 & ST 45
- KD Heat - disperse UB 63 & UB 66
