Five Phase - Lung Deficiency Cold Pattern
There are no abdominal patterns for Lung Deficiency Cold as it is an exterior condition.
Pulse:
HT/LU/SP/KD/PC = Floating and Deficiency
LV = Choppy
- Root Treatment Points:
- Technique: touching, #0 or #1, approx. 1mm insertion, approx. 5-7 minutes
- Yuan Source Points - LU 9 & SP 3 or
- Luo Connecting Points - LU 7 & SP 4
- Common Symptoms:
- Whitish and rough skin
- Weak cough
- Low spirit
- Aversion to cold, fever, spontaneous or no sweating, cold body
- Frequent urination
- Sore throat
- Related Patterns & Treatment (in lieu of controlling cycle):
- LV Cold - tonify TH 4
- HT Cold - tonify HT 7 & SI 4
- SP Cold - tonify ST 42
- KD Cold - tonify UB 58, UB 59 & UB 64
