Acupuncture Tattoos

Hello Everyone,

I am planning to get an octopus tattoo on my back and I thought it would be a good idea to have the tentacles run over some acupuncture meridians.  I know this isn't the same as treatment, but thought that having the tattoos run over some key points for my various, incessant pains, might at least make it easier to find good relief points that my partner or someone not specifically trained could easily find for purposes of massage.

I have read your answers to similar question but my question still remains.

Reoccuring Bell's Palsy

Hello I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with or could help me with re-occurance of Bell's Palsy? In the past 20 years--have had 5 different times. Had all sorts of medical tests performed--nothing obvious. Was under the care of an accupunturist whe I got it  twice this year...first time healed in about 2 weeks (January). Got again 2 mos later (In March) and still dealing with some effects--mostly dry eye. You can't really see any obvious effects. Seems to get more pronounced when I'm under stress.

Help locating a point

Hello

I've been reading, and making my research to become an acupuncture to my self at least to treat my self.

Last week I fell and I hurt my right shoulder, I have a separated shoulder. To make the story short I need help from somebody just to tell me where is the location to the treatment point.(photos would be great) Its been 11 days now I can move my arm but not in all direction, and I have a visible bone from the separated shoulder.

I ordered needles from amazon, and I want to treat my self.

Spasms due to high humidity

Hi, This is my first post - apologies if this question is not in the correct forum as it is more a general question. We have noticed that when the humidity level is high my wife is prone to spasms in her arms. At low humidity she is fine. I think in colder conditions it is the same (will have to wait until it gets colder here to see if this is true). Could this problem manifest itself due to my wifes bodys inability to regulate its temperature? Can you please give me your advice and thoughts on this? Many thanks. Pinda

season related fatigue

I have noted that in late summer many of my patients suffer from fatigue.  What is the TCM theory relating to season changes and what therapy would most regain energy?

Death by Acupuncture

In 2004 I was hit in the solar plexus numerous times with  a sharp object (while I was passed out). Trying to figure out what this demented person intended to do, I  found information on deadly strikes and Marcial Arts.  It found that if you have a burning sensation after you get hit in the solar plexus, you were hit in the deadly point, and you die in seven years.  Indeed I recall feeling a strong sensation of burning.  What do yo know abou this.  Is this diagnosis/prognosis true?

eye sight due to Multiple Sclerosis

Hello,

I treat a patient suffering with MS. We do make some progress with her body in total. Also her eye sight improved (according to her doctor her left eye improved from 20 to 40% sight) but nevertheless she needs stronger glasses (?). Anyhow, her main eye problem is a retrobulbaire neuritis (left side). I treat her on the points Liver3, K6, St 3/4/5, GB 42. Do you have an advice about other useful points?

Thank you in advance.
