I am currently studying TCM and acupuncture for people and for horses and I work in a reproductive Veterinary Clinic.
The question I have is regarding low progesterone levels during pregnancy.
Sir, I am treating a ten years old girl for skin allergy showing light brown patches appearing bilaterally(in same region in bothlimbs)mainly in hands.Itching is light,not severe. The patches have light thin white border inside of which the skin looks like as when irritated(pikilothermic)appearance. Tongue with white coating. Pulse -deep. I am treating with - Lu5,Li11,sp6,10,ub40,kid3,10,Liv3,8 and ren17,thrice a week,ren17 not frequently. she is very cooperative. But no big change. Kindly guide me.
sir, Many of my guides instruct us that the point sp5 is a cleansing point that clears or dissolves any sort of blocks caused due to phlegm,fluid , cyst even cholestrol.kindly clarify.
I have always needled points on the spine in an upwards direction, with a shallow insertion between the vertebrae. This is the way I was taught to needle over the spine. However, I have noted a few texts which state these points should be needled in a downwards direction. Could you clarify please?

According to organ clock theoy, particular organs are activated in a particular time. For example lungs are activated in the time of 3 am. to 5 am. In this time one can treat lungs problem effectively. But at the time of 3 pm. to 5 pm. can i treat lungs patient. Since it is least activated time for lungs will the acupuncture treatment work.

I have a doubts regarding kd6.
Somebody says that kd6 is to be used for rare sleep (insomnia)
But somebody strongly says that kd6 is to be used to avoid more sleep.
I would be very thankful, if i am clarified.

Dear sir/madam,
My acupuncture guide says that needling should be avoided when a women patient is in the period of menstruation. But I don't agree with him.
I have the following doubts.
1. If a woman patient is in the period of menstruation, can i give acupuncture treatment . Shall I needle her ?

Hello,
I have a pregnant patient in third trimester who has bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome. I'm starting acupuncture treatment with points for edema in pregnancy: Sp 9, Sp 3, St 36, Kid 7, Ub 20. Should I use some local points?
