Gan Mao Ling - Cold & Flu Herbal Formula
Uses: Cold, Flu, Cough, Congestion. Gan Mao Ling, literally "common cold effective remedy" in Chinese, is a Chinese herbal medicine formulated for common cold and flu. It is traditionally used to help relieve symptoms of common cold and flu such as sore throat, runny nose, nasal congestion, cough, and headache. It is also used to treat acute upper respiratory tract infections, mild bronchitis, tracheitis, and tinsillitis.*
Gan Mao Ling works to halt the invasion of pathogenic influences and relieves the associated symptoms on the surface (throat and sinus). It is mainly used for the common cold and flu (influenza). It dispels Wind, clears Heat, and expels Toxins. Gan Mao Ling is most effective when taken at the first signs of cold or flu such as sore throat, runny nose, cough, nasal congestion, and headache. However, it can be taken throughout the the viral infection to help the speedy recovery.
Ingredients: Ilex asprella root (Gang Mei Gen), Evodia lepta herb (San Cha Ku), Chrysanthemum indicum flower (Ye Ju Hua), Vitex negundo herb (Huang Jing Cao), Isatis indigotica root (Ban Lan Gen), Lonicera japonica flower (Jin Yin Hua), Microcrystalline cellulose, Dextrin, Magnesium stearate, Talcum, Hypromellose.
Recommended Dosage: Take 3 to 6 tablets 3 times a day.
Caution: Generally you should discontinue all other herbal formulas when you have a cold/flu, particularly tonics. Use with caution in hemorrhagic disorders or with patients on anti-coagulant therapy. Contraindicated if strong chills are present.
