Uses: Nightsweats Tinnitus, Hypertension, Hot Flashes, Chronic Sore Throat. Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan (Zhi Bai Di Huang Pian, Zhi Bo Di Huang Wan, Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan, Eight Flavor Rehmannia Teapills) is a ancient and widely used Chinese herbal formula for clearing heat and nourishing the Yin (or cooling) energy of the body. Similar to Liu Wei Di Huang Wan (or the Six Rehmannia Teapills), this formula has more heat clearing functions from a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective. Medical conditions that can arise from yin deficiency and for which this formula is helpful are various chronic diseases, hypertension, and supplementing treatment for chronic nephritis.*
