Yu Ping Feng Wan - Frequent Colds, Build Immunity, Herbal Formula
Uses: Chronic Infections, Catching Colds Easily and Often, Spontaneous Sweating. Yu Ping Feng Wan (Yu Ping Feng Pian, Yu Ping Feng San, Jade Screen Teapills) is a widely used Chinese Herbal Formula for strengthening ones immunity system. Compared to Yin Qiao (which is excellent and highly recommended for quick resolutions to the common cold), Yu Ping Feng Wan is used with people who catch colds and other infections easily, particularly if they have signs such as spontaneous sweating and/or aversion to drafts. This formula generally takes time to work (at least 1 month of regular use in most cases - up to 3-5 months in people with chronic issues), but helps to build the immune system back so it can regularly defend colds, flus, and other infections without other aids in the future.
Yu Ping Fen Wan has been studied in many clinical trials and has been shown to significantly reduce the frequency of the common cold and other bacterial infections. On a western biochemical level this is thought to be due to increases in immunoglobulins, enhanced microphage functions (parts of our immune systems) and limiting growth of the influenza virus.*
