Xiao Yao Wan - PMS, Stress, Anxiety, Depression Herbal Formula
Uses: Stress, Depression, Anxiety, PMS. Xiao Yao Wan (Xiao Yao Pian, Xiao Yao San, free & easy wanderer) is an extremely well known Chinese herbal formula for stress - or what is known as "liver qi stagnation" in Chinese Medicine terms. It is widely used to aid anxiety, irritability, stress, anger/irritation, and depression due to daily life. While used in both men and women, within women it is very helpful with these issues and associated PMS symptoms, cramping, breast distention, and irregular/painful menstrual cycles.*
In Chinese Medicine terms, Xiao Yao Wan eases liver stagnation and tonifies the spleen and blood. This formula is appropriate for menstrual irregularities, pain/cramping, "stuck" feeling in the chest or below the rib cage (or in the throat), vision problems such as blurred vision, dizziness, headaches, and poor appetite.
Ingredients: Radix Bupleuri (Chai Hu), Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Dang Gui), Radix Paeoniae Alba (Bai Shao), Rhizoma Atractylodis Macroce (Bai Zhu), Poria (Fu Ling), Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gan Cao), Herba Menthae (Bo He), Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens (Sheng Jiang).
Recommended Dosage: Take 5 to 7 pills or tablets 2 to 3 times a day. At full dose, one bottle renders a 10-day supply. Expect results within 3 to 5 weeks of daily use.
Caution: Do not use if pregnant or if you experience heavy bleeding during menstruation. For women they should stop taking the formula while menstruating and then continue when menstruation has ceased. (200 tablets)
