Ling Qiao Jie Du Pian - Cold and Flu Herbal Formula

Uses: Cold and Flu. Ling Qiao Jie Du Wan (Pian) is a Chinese herbal formula drawn from a classic formula, Yin Qiao, with a few additional herbs added to help clear heat signs from a Chinese Medicine perspective.  It's base Yin Qiao, offered in our store as Qiang Li Yin Qiao Jie Du Wan, is a very widely used and extremely effective formula for the common cold and flu.  They are best taken at the very first signs of symptoms, but will work when the symptoms have advanced.  The classic yin qiao formula is best for more common cold signs before a fever has started and this formula is best when there are signs such as fever or feeling very warm.  Symptoms that are appropriate for this formula are common cold/flu signs such as sore throat, sinus congestion, drainage, aches, headache, etc.

Ingredients: Radix Scrophulariae (Xuan Shen), Flos Lonicerae (Honeysuckle Flower) (Jin Yin Hua), Fructus Arctii (Edible Burdock) (Niu Bang Zi), Rhizoma Phragmitis (Lu Gen), Radix Platycodi (Balloon Flower) (Jie Geng), Semen Sojae Preparatum (Femented Soybean) (Dan Dou Chi), Frucus Forsythiae (Forsythia) (Lian Qiao), Herba Schizonepetae (Jing Jie Sui), Herba Lophatheri (Bamboo Leaf) (Dan Zhu Ye), Radix Glycyrrhizae (Chinese Licorice Root) (Gan Cao), Herba Menthae (Peppermint) (Bo He), Cornu Saige Tataricae (Ling Yang Jiao Fen).

Recommended Dosage: Take 5 to 7 pills or 3 to 4 tablets 3 times per day. For Children, dose should be reduced accordingly to the weight.  Generally the cold/flu should pass within 2-5 days particularly if you started yin qiao when the symptoms first arose, if it hasn't consult a Chinese Medicine practitioner or your physician..

Caution: When you have a cold/flu you should discontinue all other herbal medicines, particularly tonics until symptoms have passed.  Avoid oily and spicy foods, alcohol and smoking for best results.  Use only after consultation with an herbalist or physician if you have hypertension and/or diabetes, or are pregnant.(200 tablets)
