United Kingdom Acupuncture Schools Directory - TCM Oriental Medicine Colleges

Regulatory provisions for the practice of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in the UK are still under development. Generally, the study of acupuncture in the UK requires 3-4 years of college level study. The schools and the practice of acupuncture are governed by the British Acupuncture Council and the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board.

Acupuncture training involves studying the history of Chinese medicine, the main theories behind it's use, learning the locations and functions of the acupuncture points and finally the clinical applications of acupuncture.
