Acupuncture Integration Into Mainstream Healthcare In Australia

The following research discusses the path and integration of acupuncture into mainstream healthcare in Australia. As Australia is similar in many ways to other developed countries, the article provides a clear path of development for those who are seeking to obtain similar changes in their respective countries. Two items standout in relation to other countries with similar licensing structures and patient rates. First, acupuncture is better integrated into their national health care system as well as the majority of private insurers - all of whom provide rebates for acupuncture ("Between 2005 and 2006, the number of medical acupuncture visits rebated by Medicare was estimated to be 607,349"). I write often about dietary change and the health benefits of improving this arena of our lives. I write about it often not because the subject is overly complex, just that it is difficult for people to change habits. For some eating is just what they do at certain times of the day or when they are running from place to place.
