New Practitioner Directory and Contribution System

We are very pleased to announce our new practitioner directory and contribution system and we are asking for all practitioners who haven't joined us to join now.  Joining puts your practice into the eyes of our many readers and allows you to contribute your passion and skills to a world of interested readers.  Read below for our vision and reasons for offering the service, but, first here is what's different...

Recent Changes:

• Our directory has listings for acupuncturists as well as bodyworkers, energyworkers, and herbalists.  Potential patients can search generally or by specific disciplines such as "Five Element" acupuncture, or "Shiatsu" within the bodyworkers section. 
• Each listing includes a full length customizable practice details page where you can describe your practice in as much detail as you want, including uploading pictures, logos, and more.
• You can publish full length content to our site, smaller news stories and upcoming events - all of these link back to your practice details page and all other material you have written.  This helps highlight your contributions as well as your practice information.
• We have not removed our fees, which we considered, but we lowered them to just $20/year.  This simply helps us to cover our operating expenses.  See, why we charge?

What is our vision?

First we are not creating just another directory...  We are striving to create a community where everyone contributes and benefits.  By having directory listings that allow you to publish articles, news, and events we can create a much more user friendly and informative site than just another phone book of practitioners.  Potential patients can learn more about you, your skills and passions, before choosing another practitioner just by name or location.

How Does This Help You?

People use the internet in very large numbers to find information and healthcare professionals.  Sites with no content are not very likely to be found unless people specifically know what they are looking for.  Sites like ours with very high readerships and informative articles draw in visitors who may not even know that they are looking for you and your particular services.  But through reading our articles, then looking into their respective city and reading about you and your articles, they will be directed towards practitioners who can explain what they do and have a passion for their work.
