Chattanooga Sliding Scale Acupuncture Clinic Coverage
Our local paper, the Chattanooga Times Free Press, recently ran a story describing our new Community Acupuncture Clinic. The story itself was straightforward and described some of the reasoning behind starting this new service and some of the participants experiences. We are grateful for the coverage. There were a few omissions in the article, however, that I wanted to point out. First, the Community Acupuncture Clinic is only offered at certain times (see here for current schedule). The rest of the week we offer private treatments by appointment only at our regular rates. The differences between our private and community treatments are described in this article. Second, the sliding scale is not based on income, rather, it is based on what you feel you can afford.
