Correcting homolateral energy flow
Usually, if there are chronic issues in the body, including illness, pain, mood disorders, problems maintaining focus, the energy has become “homolateral” – meaning that instead of crossing, the energy is flowing in parallel lines down the body. In this state the body has to work two or three times as hard to accomplish normal physiological tasks. The pattern becomes entrenched. It is likely that the homolateral state precedes other symptoms. When energy is homolateral, looking at or thinking about an “X” weakens vital energy, while looking at parallel lines makes the energy strong. When the pattern is corrected, energies cross. Thinking about an “X” strengthens the body’s energy and parallel lines make the energy weak. Kinesiology (the art of energy testing) is used to assess how basic energies are running in a client’s body.
A simple exercise called “homolateral repatterning” can correct the pattern, encouraging the body’s energies to cross as they are intended to do. However, it must be repeated consistently for about a month, or the body will revert to what is most familiar. When this occurs, the client must start the process all over again. To correct homolateral energy, one starts with same side marching. The right hand meets the right knee as that knee is lifted; then the left hand meets the left knee, and so on. Those marching steps are repeated 4-6 times. Then one marches again, crossing first the right arm at the midline to touch the left knee, then the left hand to touch the right knee. This crossing march is repeated 4-6 times. Together, this constitutes one set. Usually the pattern will switch after the set is repeated 3 times.
Indicators that energy is homolateral include overwhelming feelings of fatigue, clumsiness and lack of coordination, word substitution or difficulty thinking of a word when it is needed in a conversation, general sluggishness and lack of motivation to do much of anything, and feeling oppressed, If a person is homolateral, the first time the legs are lifted for the crossing pattern, they feel very heavy and the marching is difficult. It indicates that the pattern has shifted when the legs start to feel lighter and the marching feels easier in this crossing pattern.
Because a person has usually lived with this homolateral pattern for some time before it is detected, the pattern is recognized by the body as “normal”. Therefore, the repatterning exercise needs to be repeated daily, optimally twice daily, in order to establish a new pattern. Also, most people who have become homolateral will revert to that pattern when stressed, including the stressors of proximity to electronic equipment (such as telephones, computers, cell phones, microwaves, automobiles). With time, a person will learn to recognize when energy has become homolateral and will be able to correct it.
Once the crossing pattern has been established, marching and crossing the midline as part of a daily practice will help to maintain the more effective pattern in the body. Other things that are helpful include drawing X’s and figure 8’s in the air or on paper, imagining “fairy flows” around the body in crossing patterns, and avoiding staring at parallel lines for long periods. Things like driving for hours where the road markings form parallel lines on the highway might well account for the kind of fatigue that plagues long distance drivers. Stopping to do a bit of cross crawl periodically can restore the normal crossing energy flow.
Many people are surprised at how much difference it makes when they correct this homolateral pattern. They report that they are better able to coordinate use of both right and left hemisphere’s of the brain, so they are able to approach daily tasks with greater clarity, alertness, focus and creativity.

I enjoyed this article but am left wondering what "fairy flows" are?
Well, here's how I learned
Well, here's how I learned about the "fairy flows." I had been doing the homolateral repatterning exercise for some time, and consistently tested that I was no longer homolateral. Still, indications that I was indeed homolateral persisted. For example, I'd get dramatically fatigued, or clumsy, or fall asleep reading (symptoms that can also indicate "scrambeld energy" - but that's another topic. I was at a training with Donna and asked a number of my colleagues if they could help me solve this puzzle. Finally, a practitioner more experienced than me named Kathy Chambers (who is teaching a regional 1st year of the 2 year certification program in Eden Energy Medicine) looked at me and said my "fairy flows" were not crossing. She tested by holding her index fingers crossed over my head and in various places in the aura.and then testing my arm using kinesiology, and I went weak. Just imagining them crossing strengthened me, and the indicators that had made me think I was still homolateral all corrected. I like to think of little fairies crossing their wings all around me. As I am very kinesthetic, I can usually feel a lifting, lightening of my energy field when I do this.
Thanks for asking.
This is a great description
This is a great description of how your energy reacts after you've been at the computer. Your experience is not unusual. There is an exercise called the latissimus dorsi stretch that might be helpful, especially if you can remember to do it every 15-20 minutes when you are using the computer. It corrects many of the problems which result from exposure to the energies generated by computers and other electronic devices.
Latissimus Dorsi Stretch: Open "tiger's mouth" (by separating thumb and index finger) and bring the web between those fingers to your waist with your thumbs forward and fingers facing the spine.Tuck your chin and pull your elbows back towards each other as you inhale deeply.Hold the stretch as long as comfortable, then relax. Repeat several times.
Diligently correcting homolateral energy once or better yet twice a day for at least a month, and repeating the cross crawl after each session at the computer, will help you retrain your energies into a new pattern.
You can also trace figure 8's, large and small, all around you, in your aura and directly on your torso, legs, and arms.
These energy exercises will help change the pattern and help you become less sensitive to the EMF frequencies. For more procedures to help you I suggest you explore the books, DVD's, and other material available at www.Innersource.net.
