Tong Ren Therapy in Second Life (Internet)
Second Life is not the afterlife. It is a Massive Multi-player Online Role-playing Game or MMORG, where players have avatars that run around in real life simulations.
TONG REN THERAPY IS NOW AVAILABLE IN SECOND LIFE. It has been practiced there for several months and has been used on patients as far away as Germany to the east and Singapore to the west. So it makes Tong Ren therapy even more available to people without physical access to it.
The software to run the game is available at www.secondlife.com. The game requires a high speed internet connection and a computer that is fairly good, as defined on the website. Just run the software, set up an avatar, learn to move around and communicate and then do a search for an avatar named TongRen Writer and a place called Support for Healing Island. There are several Tong Ren therapists who do work there and we would love to have more.
