Spine points

Hello there!

When the side for spine point is not given, which side should we use when we bang the doll?

If a side is not specified

If a side is not specified you can use tap on both sides of the spine.  If you are working on someone you can check which side they are most sensitive one (by palpating the point) and focus more on that side, but both is generally fine.  When we specify a side it is most often for one of two reasons - there is a difference anatomically in the function of the nerve underlying the point or our clinical experience has shown an increased response by using one side over the other in that particular area.
