Nomenclature in ElectroAcupuncture and others

 Hello Friends,

I have some doubts in Nomeclature in E.A.

First:

  • the active pole (the site that you feel the sensation) is the negative (-) called catode, normally the black one.
  • the passive pole (that there is no sensation) is the positive (+) called anode, normally the red one.

Second:

  • the direction of the electric current is the some of the energy flow.
  • It goes from the (+), anode, passive to the (-),catore, active. To tonify you you that, and sedate the opposite.

Third:

  • In the acute pain site you use the pole (-), chronic pole (+).
  • Sedation point pole (+) and tonification point pole (-)

Fourth:

Low frequency ( < 40hz) acute pain and chronic High frequency (> 100hz). How you characterized acute and chronic ? Just by the time or it take account the exacerbation of the pain ?

}Thanks Again Leonardo
