Which pole should I use, North or South? Does it depend on whether I am tonifying or dispersing? Please advise. Thank you.

With Tong Ren therapy we are
With Tong Ren therapy we are not concerned with the polarity - hammering is generally dispersive and the laser is generally tonifying. The magnetic hammers we use are designed for use on people, so many of the models have a polarity within the two heads. Generally south is considered tonifying and north is considered dispersive. General details about the use of magnet therapy (albeit within Japanese acupuncture, but still applicable) can be found within my magnet therapy article.
