I have been trying to find information on the theory of diagnosis when working on animals. Anybody knowing where to find info about how to make a tcm-diagnosis on horses and on dogs?
Generally with animals I use local/systemic points as a true tcm diagnosis is quite difficult to come by with the absence of communication. Additionally you are usually treating muscular-skeletal issues and/or anxiety problems which are relatively easy to treat with common points. You may want to look into our veterinary resources section for related texts that go deeper into the subject.
Uses:Prostate Health (Men Only). Saw Palmetto (Serenoa repens) is a commonly used western herb to foster and maintain prostate health. Medical studies have shown that standardized herbal extracts of Saw Palmetto helps to reduce symptoms related to prostate enlargement, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), including frequency and urgency of urination. Studies have shown effectiveness rates on par with the prescription drug proscar yet with fewer side effects.* ($5.99)
