(EX) Jinjin (L) and Yuye (R) Acupuncture Points

  • Chinese Name Jinjin / Yuye
  • English Name Golden Fluid / Jade Fluid

  • Location: On the veins on either side of the frenulum of the tongue - Jinjin is on the (L)eft side and Yuye is on the (R)ight side.

  • Actions & Effects:
  • Issues of the tongue - swollen tongue esp. w/difficult speaking, salivary gland issues, post-stroke asphasia.
  • Sun Si Mao indicated bleeding the point for sudden swelling of the tongue which obstructs breathing.

  • Extraordinary (Extra) Points
