LV 12 Acupuncture Point - Ji Mai - Liver Meridian

- Chinese Name Ji Mai
- English Name Urgent Pulse
- Location: Lateral to the pubic tubercle, lateral and inferior to ST 30, in the inguinal groove where the femoral artery is palpable, 2.5 cun lateral to the anterior midline.
- Precautions: Avoid Femoral Artery. Some texts precaution against needling this point and recommend moxa and others recommend the opposite.
- Actions & Effects:
- Local Point.
- May be useful for groin pain.
