  • English Name Stone Gate

  • Location: 3 cun above CV 2 (pubic symphysis).

  • Precautions: NDN in pregnancy, NPN in advanced pregnancy.

  • Point Associations:
  • Front Mu Point of the Triple Heater Meridian.

  • Actions & Effects:
  • Generally, useful Excess abdomen issues and infertility but used less than the other lower CV points.
  • Mentioned classically to both cause and treat infertility, although the cause may merely be incorrect needling which is specifically mentioned.
  • Useful for lower abdominal pain of an excess nature, genital pain/itching, shan disorders, hernia.
